Modern Day IolantheFaeries are creatures full of mischievous play  They weave tricks by night and dreams by day   
Flitting over our heads unseen casting our way  But not the curious and modern time Iolanthe   
It’s true she is tiny with a voice to charm Kings  Though she does not flit about with dewdrop wings   
Her days are not filled with writing song and dance  They’re riddled with fate and a bit of chance   
She does not dwell in swamps nor has she a overbearing Queen  Though comparing current dwellings little difference is seen

To Cry So SoonWhen I lie down in bed and rest my head  I dream myself robed in layers of red  Folding over to sheets of white to be wed  So sad by then I may suddenly be dead   
Sway, sigh, I seem to cry so soon  For thoughts in my head that could seal my doom  As the day transforms from night to noon  My tears reflect my fears in the light of the moon   
Oh, I daydream of kisses by the hard windowsill  Of embraces, heavenly graces from his divine will  Then a flash of pain, revenge to gain, he means to kill  For the future flower robbed sitting high on the hill

RainAs the days go by, I feel you there  When the rain comes down in the air  I close my eyes and hear your cries  the lonesome sound, lonely eyes  as the sky cries I hear you….   
I hear your heartbeat, soft and slow  Listen to the rain, the ever lasting flow  Again I feel your on going, endless pain,  
I feel it, taste it, hear it in the rain   
I long to feel the touch of tears that fall  To tell you They won't fall forever, not at all  In the future the days will onward flow,  All peaceful things come, all sadness will go
